An interesting film I was pointed to today.
For her film “Faceless”, the London-Austrian filmmaker Manu Luksch used only recordings of British surveillance cameras. The people, who’ve been defaced with black oval to protect their identity, are unsuspecting victims of a totalitarian state, whose citizens are constantly monitored.
That sounds a lot like this… gotta love creative ways of getting your media made.
Thanks for the link – this is of course another way to “cope” with, even use public surveillance in a creative way. Very unique. People should be astound yet again what good resolution and zoom capabilities some of the used CC cameras had in this music video…
